Babesburgh Bash Festival Marks Second Year of Honoring Women

There’s a festival out there for just about everything but Babesburgh Bash is still the only one in the Pittsburgh area specifically for empowering women. In 2025, Babesburgh Bash from women’s organization Babesburgh returns for its second year, expanding all the fun of last year into an even broader celebration. It’s a day to embrace your womanhood, learn about your body and other important resources, and gather with other women to lift one another up.

Whether you’re a shopper, sipper, partier, artist, or just looking for a chance to get away from the chaos of the day to day, there’s a path for everyone to take to make the bash their own. Being able to mix and match activities along with tastings and classes means you leave feeling rejuvenated and with a brighter outlook on the world around you.

In order to customize your own Babesburgh Bash, you’ll start by choosing the right ticket. There are three types to choose from depending on what you’re looking for. A Taster Ticket grants you a souvenir glass for sampling, a swag bag, and access to all the events throughout the day. A Non-Taster Ticket still gets you into each activity (with a swag bag) but does not include the sampling aspect. Lastly, a Shopper Ticket means you get to roam the vendor alley but you’ll miss out on the rest of the fun.

When it comes time to curate your experience, the list of what you can do is essentially endless. We’ll start with the perfect experience for the fitness lovers. After entering the festival grounds, head over to the fitness zone for drop-in mini-classes like Zumba, Afro Beats Dance Class, or Shadow Boxing and Circuit Training. Then, relax your body with Energy Healing and Herbal Education from Erin Clarke of Elements & Energies. There’s even a farmers’ market brimming with fresh and local produce for you to take home.

A Relaxing Festival at Its Core

However, we’ve got more awaiting those who would rather sip and relax than tune into their energy. Grab that Taster Ticket souvenir glass and get ready to try local ciders, beers, wines, and liquors from Two Frays Brewery, Love, Katie Distilling, Jackworth Ginger Beer, and many others. Once you’re done sampling, unwind to live music from DJ Femi, Gabrielle, and Madame Trio before diving into lessons on meditation, chakra education, sound bowl healing, and much more. Finish your day out with a bite from local food trucks such as 412 Tacos, Foxy Frans Catering, and Sweet Florence Candy Company.

No matter what path you choose, we’re sure your day will be busy in the best way possible. But, even if you can’t make it to Babesburgh Bash this year, Babesburgh is working year-round to produce other events that support women around the city. Stay tuned to their website and socials for their information on meet-ups, craft nights, tastings, and more.
