Ingredients
Scale
- 10 cups bread (7 cups white bread, 1 1/2 wheat bread, 1 1/2 rye), diced
- 1 stick of butter
- 1/3 cup diced onion
- 1/3 cup diced celery
- 2 1/2 tsp parsley
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup cold water
Instructions
- Sauté the onions, celery parsley, salt and pepper in butter over medium heat until soft.
- In a separate bowl, add 2 eggs and cold water.
- To that mixture add the onion & celery mixture and then add bread.
- Allow mixture to sit for 20 minutes.
- Roll into balls and put in prepared/greased muffin pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350.
