Homemade Halloween Crackers

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Additional sea salt for topping


Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Add olive oil and using a fork or your fingers, mix until combined and mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add water and mix just until dough comes together into a ball.
  4. If the dough is too crumbly, add a bit more water. If it’s too sticky, add a bit more flour. Try not to overwork the dough.
  5. Allow dough to rest for 30 minutes then roll out on a floured surface to 1/8 inch.
  6. Cut into shapes using your favorite cookie cutters. Place cut-outs on parchment-covered baking sheet.
  7. Sprinkle with sea salt. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until lightly browned and crispy.
