About the Workshop:
Join us for a No‑Sew Tote Bag Workshop facilitated by Sheba G. of Ujamaa Collective’s Cooperative Fashion Circle. This experience is rooted in the Eco‑Essence Project, which centers on upcycling materials as an act of environmental responsibility, creativity, and future‑building.
Together, we explore how small, intentional actions—like repurposing what we already have—contribute to a safer, more sustainable future for our planet.
What to Bring:
Participants must bring a t‑shirt ready to reimagine. Whether it carries memories or simply deserves new life, you’ll learn accessible cutting and tying techniques to transform it into a sturdy, reusable tote bag.
More Than a Craft Workshop:
This is a space to gather, reflect, create, and connect. It’s fashion as care, sustainability as practice, and community in action.
All skill levels are welcome. Come as you are. Leave with something useful, beautiful, and made by you.
