Jason Robert Brown
November 18, Greer Cabaret Theater
Broadway fans are able to see Parade and The Last Five Years star Jason Robert Brown in the intimate setting of the Greer Cabaret Theater. Attendees can look forward to hearing selections from Jason’s past theatrical features as well as new pieces performed by him and his band.
MJ the Musical
November 19-December 1, Benedum Center
Michael Jackson’s legacy comes to the musical theater stage for a production about the making of the 1992 Dangerous World Tour. You’ll get to see Michael’s mind at this point in time, and all that went into his lasting impact on the world. Featuring his iconic looks, songs, and dance moves, it’s a must-see for any fan.
Pittsburgh Shorts Film Festival
November 21-24, Harris Theater
Sit down to a weekend of short films made by independent filmmakers across the country and beyond. Not only will you get an exclusive look at upcoming creatives in the field but you’ll even get to attend post-screening Q&As and after-parties.
Resonance Works presents Pittsburgh premiere of The Little Prince
November 22 and 24, Andrew Carnegie Free Library and Music Hall
The Little Prince, a children’s book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery gets turned into a theatrical production. This story about a wandering young child and a stranded pilot comes to life. The fantastic cast is accompanied by the Pittsburgh Youth Chorus and Resonance Chamber Orchestra to really set the scene.
Pittsburgh Light Up Night
November 23, Downtown
Get into the holiday spirit as Downtown Pittsburgh lights up for the winter season. Catch local personalities, family-friendly activities, vendor markets, cultural exhibits, and so much more. This event is for the whole family. So, bundle up in your favorite sweater and be sure to stick around for the fireworks over the rivers at 9:30 p.m.
