At a table-sponsored mixer at cellars speakeasy, staffers from a host of the region’s non-profits gathered. It was a chance to chat, sip, and share. It was a pause for refreshment. And it was a celebration of people who work hard to improve our neighbors’ lives and our own.

Non-profit organizations in Pittsburgh play a crucial role in tackling poverty,
housing and food insecurity, access to healthcare, and education. They shore up safety nets for our neighbors in need fill in service gaps that government or private sectors can’t fully meet. The diligent, passion driven work of our region’s non-profit community impacts us all in the best of ways.
