CMTA Pittsburgh Walk 4 CMT
Sept. 20 | 11 AM | North Fayette Township Community Center
Join Pittsburgh resident Linda Dobosh as she leads the CMTA Pittsburgh Walk 4 CMT, a community event raising awareness and support for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT). This progressive neuromuscular condition affects more than 135,000 people in the U.S., including nearly 900 in the Pittsburgh area.
The walk takes place on a 0.5-mile loop at the North Fayette Township Community Center, with participants welcome to complete as much or as little as they’d like. Open to all ages and abilities, the event raises funds for the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association’s mission to develop treatments and improve quality of life for people living with CMT.
Proceeds benefit CMTA’s STAR research program, which has invested more than $33 million toward finding effective treatments and a cure.
