Community Kitchen Pittsburgh’s 8th Annual Fish Fry returns this February. The beloved Friday tradition runs from February 20 through April 3. Hours are 11 am to 7 pm at the Flowers Avenue location.
This year marks a special milestone. CKP is celebrating five years of partnership with Hazel Grove Brewing. To honor the occasion, the two organizations collaborated on two new beers. Both will be poured on-site during fish fry service.
Hazel Grove Brewing will be at CKP from 4 to 7 pm each Friday. They’ll feature two collaborative brews created specifically for the event. Good Neighbor is a crisp Italian Pilsner. It’s bright, balanced, and pairs perfectly with a classic fish sandwich. Lend A Hand is a smooth International Dark Lager. It offers light roast notes and easy drinkability.
In addition, both beers are available in cans at the fish fry. You can also find them on draft and in cans at Hazel Grove Brewing in Hazelwood.
Proceeds from the fish fry directly support CKP’s workforce development programs. These initiatives provide no-cost culinary training and employment pathways for individuals facing barriers to work.
The fish fry runs weekly while supplies last. For the full menu, online ordering, and updates, visit ckpgh.org/fish-fry.
