Listing Description:
Prime Stage Theatre and the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh join forces to bring this powerful story to life, fostering education, understanding, and action against the horrors of genocide. This play tells the story of Raja, a young Czech teenager who finds solace and strength through art while imprisoned in the Terezin ghetto during World War II. This uplifting play, based on the book of poetry and artwork created by the children of Terezin, commemorates the 80th anniversary of the camp’s liberation and honors the memory of the 15,000 children who passed through its gates.
