Begin or deepen your quilt-making journey in this sustainable, creative 8-week series. Under the guidance of artist Sarah Silk, you’ll learn to design and create a quilt using the versatile half-square triangle as your foundation, allowing for endless traditional or contemporary patterns.
The series covers the full process: designing, cutting, piecing, and finishing with binding and hand-quilting. In alignment with sustainable textile practices, students are encouraged to incorporate personal, used textiles like clothing or sheets into their work. Studio materials, tools, and sewing machines are provided.
Students also receive 50% off Open Studio access between classes to continue their projects.
