Spirit’s wildest party of the year is back! The 8th Annual Summer Recess Festival brings together local restaurants, musicians, artists, and vendors for a day-to-night celebration of Pittsburgh creativity. The event kicks off with a free outdoor portion from 2–3PM, then continues with music, food, and festivities across 51st Street, Spirit Garden, the Hall, and the Lodge.
Daytime highlights include live music from Merce Lemon, Weird Paul Rock Band, and a high-energy Title Town Dance Off. The Garden Stage features punk favorites Fuck Yeah Dinosaurs, while the Hall hosts Detroit’s DJ Stingray 313 and local electronic artists after dark. Shop from local makers, grab a bite from top-tier food trucks, and check out live mural painting through Spirit Walls.
Tickets available here with options for day-only, night-only, or full-festival access. Kids under 10 enter free during daytime hours.
