About this event
Exhibition:
Steel Valley Visions reflects on Western Pennsylvania’s Big Steel Era and its impact on American life, blending historic and contemporary works. Highlights include Skywalker Greets Sunrise VI by Seneca artist Marie Watt, recipient of the 2025 Heinz Award for the Arts. Visitors will also encounter works by Aaron Harry Gorson, Virginia Cuthbert, Stephen Towns, Sophie Glenn, Alan Shepp, and more.
The installation features a listening lounge with songs from the steel era, interactive areas for personal reflections, and an immersive experience launching in early 2026.
Admission is free and open to the public.
