Admission: Free admission to grounds, museums, and most activities. The Clayton historic house open house is $5 for non-members. An optional Winter Sound Bath Concert on Jan. 18 requires a separate ticket ($38-$48).

The Frick Pittsburgh’s annual Winterfest returns for a fifth year with two days of family-friendly festivities designed to beat the post-holiday blues. This celebration offers a mix of indoor and outdoor activities across the museum’s 10-acre campus.

Weekend-Long Activities (Both Days):

• Clayton Open House (10 a.m.–4 p.m.): Explore the first floor of the historic Frick family mansion. ($5 non-members; free for members).

• Hot Wheels Glass Blowing (12 p.m.–3 p.m., weather permitting): Watch live demonstrations by artists from the Pittsburgh Glass Center.

• Art & History Activities (10 a.m.–5 p.m.): Contribute to a collaborative mural, make winter crafts, and solve a History Mystery.

• Hot Chocolate Bar (11 a.m.–3 p.m.): Warm up with a complimentary cup.

• Grounds Exploration: Enjoy a snowman scavenger

• hunt, an audio soundwalk, and the active historic greenhouse.

• Museums & Shopping: Visit The Frick Art Museum and Car and Carriage Museum for free, and browse the Museum Store.

Daily Live Entertainment:

• Saturday, Jan. 17: Live music from the South Hills Children’s Choir (10:30 a.m.–3 p.m.).

• Sunday, Jan. 18: Smooth jazz by pianist Royce Hearn (1 p.m.–3 p.m.).

Featured Add-On Event:

• Winter Sound Bath Concert: On Sunday, Jan. 18 at 4:00 p.m., extend your visit with a 75-minute immersive sound meditation led by musician Brooke Smokelin. Tickets are $38 for members, $48 for non-members, and $25 for students.

Plan Your Visit: The on-site Café will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for seasonal foods and drinks.
