About the Festival:

Riverlife Chalk Fest returns for its fifth year, bringing more than two dozen professional chalk artists from across the U.S. to the North Shore. This free, family‑friendly celebration invites visitors to the most colorful kick‑off to summer with interactive chalk art, food, drink, live music, and more.

In 2025, more than 13,000 people attended. Visitors can watch large‑scale chalk murals come to life, meet the artists, and contribute to community murals.

Setting: The festival unfolds against the iconic Sister Bridges, highlighting Riverlife’s mission to create, activate, and celebrate Pittsburgh’s riverfronts.
