This world premiere opera is composed by Jennifer Higdon and inspired by a real-life art heist. Each performance of Woman With Eyes Closed also offers three possible endings. When Mona discovers a mysterious suitcase filled with stolen masterpieces, she faces a dilemma: should she save the priceless paintings or protect her son, who is the thief? However, one particular painting catches her eye with a resemblance to her mother, a painter who died when Mona was young.
