There’s a festival out there for just about everything but Babesburgh Bash is still the only one in the Pittsburgh area specifically for empowering women. In 2026, Babesburgh Bash from women’s organization Babesburgh returns on June 6 for its third year, expanding all the fun into an even broader celebration. It’s a day to embrace your womanhood, learn about your body and other important resources, and gather with other women to lift one another up.
What is There to Do at Babesburgh Bash in Pittsburgh?
Whether you’re a shopper, sipper, foodie, partier, crafter, fitness lover, or just looking for a chance to get away from the chaos of the day to day, there’s a path for everyone to take to make the bash their own. Being able to mix and match activities along with tastings and classes means you leave feeling rejuvenated and with a brighter outlook on the world around you.
In order to customize your own Babesburgh Bash, you’ll start by choosing the right ticket. There are three types to choose from depending on what you’re looking for. A Taster Ticket grants you a souvenir glass for sampling beer, cider, wine, and cocktails, a swag bag, and access to all the events throughout the day. A Non-Taster Ticket still gets you into every activity and area but does not include the sampling aspect. Lastly, a Shopper Ticket means you get to roam the vendor alley but you’ll miss out on the rest of the fun.
The Babesburgh Bash Focus on Fitness and Wellness
When it comes time to curate your experience, the list of what you can do is essentially endless. We’ll start with the perfect experience for the fitness lovers. After entering the festival grounds, head over to the fitness zone for drop-in mini-classes like pilates, Zumba, and yoga. Then, relax your body with education from wellness experts such as Lindsey Best from Mindful Movement and Sound, Victoria Zaitz from Elements Counseling and Wellness Spa, and Tyler Bowe from Eightea Herbals. There’s even a farmers’ market brimming with fresh and local produce for you to take home.
A Relaxing Festival at Its Core
However, there’s more awaiting those who would rather sip and relax than tune into their energy. Grab that Taster Ticket souvenir glass and get ready to try local ciders, beers, wines, and liquors from local brewers and distillers Hazel Grove Brewing, TLC Libations, Jackworth Ginger Beer, and many others. Even those choosing a sober lifestyle can stop by The Open Road: Non-Alcoholic Beverages booth for a variety of selections.
Once you’re done sampling, unwind to live music from DJs Penny Black, Maya Universe, and Marz before diving into a women’s vendor market featuring all women-owners. You can also stop by the Community Corner that features support and community groups throughout the Pittsburgh region. No matter if you’re an artist, a mom, or struggling in a certain area, there’s a group for you.
Those feeling crafty can take an opportunity to make flower crowns, magnets, bag charms, button earrings, bracelets, paper flowers, and pressed flower candle holders.
Finish your day out with a bite from local food trucks such as Mana Meals Catering, Foxy Frans Catering, and Churn Ice Cream.
No matter what path you choose, we’re sure your day will be busy in the best way possible. But, even if you can’t make it to Babesburgh Bash this year, Babesburgh is working year-round to produce other events that support women around the city. Stay tuned to their website and socials for their information on meet-ups, craft nights, tastings, and more.
