Dorido’s is our favorite after-work spot. Always consistent, they never disappoint. All their featured dishes are at a “must-try” level, and you have to get there early because they sell out quickly. It’s a great place for a drink and a delicious meal in a relaxed setting. They’ve been around since 1966, so they know what they’re doing.

Monterey Bay Fish Grotto

1411 Grandview Avenue, Mount Washington

The fresh fish features here are classic with creative twists, making every meal a memorable experience. The views from Monterey Bay Fish Grotto are among the best in the city, providing a perfect backdrop for a fine dining seafood experience. Hit their lounge most Fridays for live music and full bar service.

An honorable mention goes to The Original Oyster House, the oldest bar and restaurant in the city. It’s a historic spot, cited by the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundations, and I’ll never forget my first fried oyster sandwich here. A must-visit for seafood lovers who appreciate a taste of tradition and the central location.
