The Burton Bar Haunts Pittsburgh

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! This famous phrase may not make Beetlejuice appear before your eyes, but it could get you to Hidden Pittsburgh’s latest pop-up, The Burton Bar. Perfect for all things Tim Burton.

What’s Inside?

For the month of October, when you enter Bloomfield’s Mixtape, now a speakeasy pop-up, you’ll be surrounded by props and decorations based on the movies Burton has directed. The neon colors of Beetlejuice come to life along all the walls, and needless to say, you’re sure to see a few skeletons.

It’s an excellent spot for selfies and friend photoshoots, so be sure to have your camera ready. Plus, there are quests to complete with your fellow ghouls to make every experience interactive.

How Do I Get My Spooky On?

For just $25, you get admittance to the bar for 90 minutes, a free Boozy Welcome Drink, access to games, and a ghost host for the evening. There are themed drinks available, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

Normally, the bar is for those 21 years of age or older, but family sessions are available. These sessions will have all the usual spooky goodies available but without the alcohol content.

Each time slot is scheduled ahead of time, so be sure to book your tickets in advance. Then, to quote Beetlejuice, “It’s showtime!”
