About the Tour:

Explore the history and public art of one of Pittsburgh’s most beloved neighborhoods with local public art aficionado Morton Brown.

Morton is an independent art consultant and served as the City of Pittsburgh’s Public Art Manager from 2009 to 2015. He has many interesting, first‑hand stories to share about the development and preservation of public art in East Liberty.

Artworks you’ll see include:

• Shady Liberty by Sheila Klein – the first artist‑designed pedestrian bridge in Pittsburgh

• Joy of Life sculpture by Virgil Cantini

• Convergence by Leslie Ansley

• To Be Human by Ann Lewis (on the façade of Duolingo HQ)

• Sculptures by Thaddeus Mosley at Eastside Bond Plaza
