Pittsburgh CLO Presents World Premiere of MADAME CLICQUOT: A Revolutionary Musical
Pittsburgh CLO proudly presents MADAME CLICQUOT: A Revolutionary Musical, a groundbreaking new show celebrating the life of Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin Clicquot, the woman who revolutionized the Champagne industry. The world premiere runs from May 29 – June 8, 2025, at the Byham Theater, with a preview on May 29 and an Opening Night Gala on May 30.
Created by Lisette Glodowski and Richard C. Walter, the musical tells Barbe-Nicole’s incredible journey from a young woman defying societal norms to becoming a Champagne industry icon. Directed and choreographed by Laurie Glodowski, with musical direction by Kenneth Gartman, this visually stunning production features local talent, including costume design by Janet Campbell and set design by Holly Fleischer.
Following sold-out concerts and a concept album, this exciting production is a must-see before it heads to Broadway.
