About the Event:
Pittsburgh’s first Longest Table is a free potluck‑style community‑building gathering. Friends, family, colleagues, neighbors, and even perfect strangers come together around one long table. Bring a dish to share; organizers provide tables, chairs, and tablecloths. Be a Table Captain and bring 6‑8 guests with decorations and a menu — or come on your own or with your posse. Everyone checks in at either end of the table on the day of the event. Yes, there’s a cookie table — bring cookies for the cookie table; after all, it’s Pittsburgh! Rain or shine.
