About the Event: Join Reading Ready Pittsburgh at B is for Books to celebrate Dolly Parton and her dedication to children’s literacy. Enjoy children’s activities and cookies, take a photo with a Dolly cutout, and sign up children under 5 to receive a free book every month through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. As always at B is for Books, each child can take home three free books at the end of their visit. The event coincides with plans to introduce legislation recognizing September 25 as “Dolly Parton Day” in Pennsylvania.
