Description

Pinot Grigio, sparkling lemonade, fresh citrus juices, and fragrant basil for a light drink.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle Pinot Grigio
  • 2 (8 oz) cans Italian sparkling lemonade
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • Lime and lemon slices, plus basil (and/or mint or thyme) sprigs, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Refrigerate the Pinot Grigio and Italian sparkling lemonade until chilled.
  2. Once cold, add the wine, sparkling lemonade, and citrus juices to a large glass pitcher.
  3. About 20 minutes before serving, gently crush the fresh basil leaves in your hands and add them to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Fill wine glasses with ice. Pour in the Grigio Spritz and garnish with citrus slices and a sprig of thyme.
