Grigio Spritz
Description
Pinot Grigio, sparkling lemonade, fresh citrus juices, and fragrant basil for a light drink.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle Pinot Grigio
- 2 (8 oz) cans Italian sparkling lemonade
- 2 limes, juiced
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- Lime and lemon slices, plus basil (and/or mint or thyme) sprigs, for garnish
Instructions
- Refrigerate the Pinot Grigio and Italian sparkling lemonade until chilled.
- Once cold, add the wine, sparkling lemonade, and citrus juices to a large glass pitcher.
- About 20 minutes before serving, gently crush the fresh basil leaves in your hands and add them to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine.
- Fill wine glasses with ice. Pour in the Grigio Spritz and garnish with citrus slices and a sprig of thyme.
