At Revel, they’re holding their Mother’s Day brunch and dinner buffets in their event space, Roost featuring a build-your-own bloody Mary bar. There are also carved meats, fresh waffles, pastries, made-to-order omelettes, a full salad bar, oatmeal station, pasta bar, hot breakfast favorites, kid-friendly selections, and a dessert station.

The Fez

Looking for an early dinner? The Fez is seating their Mother’s Day buffet at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. so you have plenty of time after to spend with mom. Mom will venture through a variety of soups and salads, chef carving stations, entrees like Pork Loin Cordon Bleu, a large selection of side dishes, and of course, dessert. Your buffet also includes unlimited soft drinks, coffee, and tea but there’s a cash bar as well with specialty cocktails and mocktails such as the Mama-tini.

The Commoner

At The Commoner’s Mother’s Day Brunch, you can enjoy their entire usual menu along with some specialty dishes just for the occasion. After you stop by their Flower Bar and grab some blooms for mom, you’ll dine on Asian flavors with touches of spring. Try their Spring Frittata, Pork Belly Katsu, and Mango Sticky Bun for a taste of something new alongside their signature cocktails as well as make-your-own mimosas.

Pizzaiolo Primo

Is mom a fan of Italian food? Treat her to brunch at Pizzaiolo Primo featuring fine Italian cuisine with a curated wine menu. Pittsburgh’s favorite jazz bar is opening early for Mother’s Day and you’re invited! Starting at 1 p.m. for lunch service, Con Alma hosts performers Katie Simone and Tony Campbell. Then, when service turns to dinnertime at 5 p.m. you can still enjoy their Sunday dinner service while listening to their Jazz Jam Session through the rest of the evening.

Pane è Pronto Mother’s Day Meal Kit

In case mom would rather stay at home than venture out for brunch but you’re not much of a cook, Pane è Pronto offers a whole meal kit that you can have for brunch or dinner. The spread includes a house-baked focaccia, Sicilian cannellini dip, strawberry spinach salad, gnocchi, Tuscan stuffed chicken, and strawberry shortcake. You can pick up your take and heat meal from May 8 to the morning of May 10.
