The melting pot landscape of Pittsburgh brings together people from all different walks of life, creating a rich culture with many influences. The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh examines the history of living in the city with a display of items donated from Pittsburgh residents. Join the opening reception in the Graphic Novels Room to hear all about the project and get a closer look at what makes our community so unique.

Cranberry Summer Nights

July 9-11, Cranberry Community Park

For three nights, Cranberry Foundation and UPMC Passavant welcome families and friends to the park for a free night out. Sit back on the grass to enjoy live music, a community car cruise, specialty performers, games, rides, vendors, visits from princesses, superheroes, and mascots, and even a fireworks display to end the week.

Whiskey & Spirits Walk

July 10, Starts at Meeting House

Before attending the Whiskey Rebellion Festival over the weekend, the Bradford House Historical Association takes you to local businesses throughout the area where you’ll sample libations from a number of distillers. You can even buy bottles along your way and a runner will have them ready for you at the main table when the walk is over. Plus you’ll get a pretzel snack bag, bottle of water, and complimentary shot glass.
