Ocean Vuong: The Emperor of Gladness Reading

May 20, Carnegie Library Lecture Hall

Award-winning author and poet Ocean Vuong reads from his latest novel The Emperor of Gladness and speaks about his inspiration for this story. Each ticket includes a signed copy of the book which touches on chosen family and unexpected friendship through the life of nineteen-year-old Hai.
