An evening of performances, beautiful masks, and community conversation introduces guests to Quantum Theatre’s Q Ball of 2025. This year’s theme, The Scarlet Masquerade, sees guests and performers alike donning handmade masks in an atmospheric space. We’re heading into the Q Ball on April 5, 2025 to get a peek at what Quantum and its supporters have been up to.
More than 275 guests enjoyed live music from Cello Fury, as well as spotlight performances from Quantum’s yearly productions. DJ Hoagie Dreams filled the dance floor. Caryn Rubinoff and Craig Dunhman co-chaired the event with Bevin Baker. Susan Speicher chaired the auction. Centering the auction were 12 one-of-a-kind masks made and donated by Pittsburgh artists Nyde Handley, Karla Boos, Susan Englert, Larkin Werner, Juliet Zavon, Mimi Jong, Carolyn Pierotti, Jane Werner, Janis Burley Wilson, Tom Mosser, and Jennie Snyder. Event sponsors included Rockwell Park, Carole King and Charles R. Burke, Jr., Vivian and Bill Benter, CapTrust, Citizens Bank, Duolingo, Hunter Associates in partnership with Clark Hunter Foundation, The Rubinoff Company, Highmark, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Media Now Interactive.
