Spirits of the Burgh to Hold First Annual Distillery Festival

Here at TABLE, we believe one of the best ways to spend a Saturday afternoon is savoring a craft cocktail with no thoughts or worries about the next day’s responsibilities. Now, imagine that one cocktail becomes various samples from over 20 Pittsburgh distillers. Sounds like a dream come true? Then the first annual Spirits of the Burgh Festival is right up your alley. Taking place at downtown’s The Pennsylvanian on February 17, the festival features handcrafted cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine from some of your favorite local businesses.

From Brews to Spirits

Spirits of the Burgh is put on by the same group that has organized the Beers of the Burgh Festival for the past decade. This new little taste of Pittsburgh lets you explore distillers like Kingfly Spirits, Wigle Whiskey, TLC Liberations, Noir Expedition, and more.

Whether a cocktail, house-made spirit, beer, wine, or even something nonalcoholic, samples from participating vendors are included in admission. There will also be plenty of food vendors, like Brisketburgh, Pita My Schawarma, and Pittsburgh Cupcake, to make sure your stomach stays happy. Plus, dance all evening long with a live set from DJ Samuel Andres.

VIP Experience

If you’re feeling a bit fancy, purchase the VIP Wigle Whiskey Tour & Tasting Ticket Bundle and make it an all-day event. Start the fun before the festival begins with a curated tour and beverage tasting/food pairing at Wigle Whiskey. Try their different locally distilled spirits complimented by small bites, all while getting a deeper understanding of their brewing facility.
