As the seasons change, it’s the perfect time to head out to a local park for bird watching. Join a National Aviary Educator, wildlife photographer, and ornithologist over at Blue Spruce County Park with your binoculars in hand (or borrow a pair from the Aviary). On top of identifying birds, you’ll also get a chance to feed the chickadees. They are even trained to land on your fingertips and take seeds from your hand. While you feed and birdwatch, feel free to ask the experts questions, they’ll be happy to tell you all the facts they know.
