About Sew Club:

Join our monthly sewing meetup. Bring your current project, create something new from our community scrap bin, or simply enjoy the company of fellow sewists. Both hand sewing and machine sewing are welcome.

Please note: This is open studio time and is not instructional. Registration is required to ensure enough space for everyone to work comfortably.

Machine Reservations:

Contemporary Craft has 6 Pfaff sewing machines and 1 serger available for studio use. Reserve one in advance for a $5 fee. If you don’t need a machine, attendance is free—though a $5 donation is appreciated if you’re able.

Studio Amenities:

• Irons and ironing boards

• Cutting station

• Fabric scissors, rulers, and rotary blades

• Small amount of scrap material available for mini projects

What to Bring: Your own project supplies and sewing machine (if you prefer not to reserve one).

Accessibility:

The Fibers Loft is on the second floor. Two entrances are available:

• Butler Street entrance: 32 stairs to ascend

• 57th Street entrance: Accessible ramp with no stairs, plus a lift to the second floor
