Drive-In Movies at Allegheny County Parks

Looking for ways to get your family out and about for the spring season? Allegheny County Parks is putting on a series of drive-in movies to kick off the start of warmer weather and sunny smiles. For the months of April and May, families can check out an animated family-film, some of which were released in the last year. Guests are also encouraged to bring any food, drinks, or snacks to enjoy and closed-captioning is available for those who ask. So what are you waiting for? Simply hop in your car, load up your lawn chairs or recline your car seats for comfort, and then relax under the stars to these feature films.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem

South Park VIP Lot, April 6 and Hartwood Acres Amphitheater, April 27

Your favorite heroes in a half-shell are back and better than ever. Follow along the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and their new friend April O’Neil. The team tackles trying to fight crime while being normal teenagers along the way. Their latest crime-solving journey takes them up against an army of mutants in this 2023 animated film.

Moana

South Park VIP Lot, April 13 and Hartwood Acres Amphitheater, May 4

A death-defying adventure, lots of ocean magic, and catchy tunes has left Moana as one of the most popular disney movies of the past 10 years. Princess Moana of Motunui hopes to save her people after a call from her voyager ancestors. She sails the ocean to find the demigod Maui so she can become a great way finder and protect her village. 

The Super Mario Bros. Movie

South Park VIP Lot, April 20 and Hartwood Acres Amphitheater, May 11

Plumber brothers Mario and Luigi get their lives turned upside down when they’re transported to a magical world. The two are separated and Luigi is taken prisoner by the Dark Lands ruler Bowser. Now, Mario must team up with Princess Peach, Toad, Donkey Kong, and plenty of other lovable characters to get his brother back and save all of the Mushroom Kingdom.
