Every summer starts with the same promise. Extra daylight, warm weather, and endless plans with friends. Then, you wake up one day and realize it’s already halfway gone.
If this sounds like you, Rivers Casino’s monthly Sip & Social may be the perfect remedy for your mid-summer malaise — a lively evening out on Thursday, August 20, with specialty cocktails, a live DJ, small plates, and a designer giveaway, made to reset the rhythm of the midweek mundane.
More than 150 guests joined us for our first Sip & Social in June, and this month, we’re bringing it back with even bigger energy. Last month, our grand prize winner walked away with a brand new Jimmy Choo purse.
From 5 to 7:30 p.m., Sip & Social attendees will enjoy an elevated experience in Rivers Casino’s Martorano’s Prime. With a live DJ curating the mood and a menu made for sharing, the get-together brings the perfect blend of great food, great drinks, and even better company.
A $24 specialty Sip & Social menu will be available throughout the gathering, featuring selections such as the Martorano Salad paired with Borgatti ravioli and classic meatball; traditional Caesar salad with chicken parmesan and house-made gnocchi and cream sauce; or a charcuterie board comprising assorted meats, cheeses, and other accompaniments.
More Than Just Sipping
Of course, no Sip & Social is complete without a little sparkle. Throughout the evening, guests will have the chance to enter a designer giveaway featuring luxury accessories and fashion items.
One lucky winner will get to choose their prize from a catalog of Louboutin and Jimmy Choo shoes, purses from Louis Vuitton, and other authentic designer accessories, including selections from Gucci, Chanel, Prada, Fendi, and more. The winner will be chosen at random toward the end of the evening.
