Where to Get Thanksgiving To-Go Meals in Pittsburgh

Sometimes you just don’t want to cook on Thanksgiving. Many local restaurants have gotten hip to the idea of to-go Thanksgiving dinners or catered Thanksgiving meals for the most stress-free version of the holiday possible. We’ve included an option for full catered meals, to-go sides, to-go desserts, and in-restaurant buffets.

Where to Get Thanksgiving To-Go Meals in Pittsburgh

fl.2

The team at fl.2 has whipped up a “Turkey to Go” menu that’ll definitely inspire gratitude. From candied sweet potatoes and fried brussels sprouts to roasted butternut squash, fl.2 has a menu of their spins on classic dishes focused on quality with a chef-curated touch to each of the dishes.

Bistro to Go

One of Pittsburgh’s premier caterers, Bistro to Go has a wide range of options for Thanksgiving. You can get an “individual dinner” for only $32, as well as a vegan option for $35. Though that dinner is meant for one person, it features huge portions of maple glazed turkey, cranberry gravy chutney, and seasoned green beans. Bistro is also offering a variety of trays, dips, and full meals for anyone entertaining a big group.

Brothmonger

For Thanksgiving, Brothmonger is doing a holiday order run of potato leek soup, butternut squash soup, turkey gravy, turkey stock, or a giftcard for a special someone you’re grateful for this year. Pickup is on 11/26 and 11/27.

Braddock’s Rebellion

Leave the meal prep to Braddock’s Rebellion this year for an affordable and extensive Thanksgiving meal. They’re offering dry herb brined turkey, a choice of salads (Caesar, tossed green, beet and goat cheese), a choice of potatoes (roasted sweet potatoes, creamy buttermilk mashed potatoes, or herb roasted redskins), a choice of sides (green bean casserole, asiago and sweet onion stuffing, turkey gravy, cranberry and orange chutney, or dinner roll knots. Then, close out the night with New York cheesecake, pumpkin pie, or key lime pie. Pickup on 11/27.

Pané e Pronto

DiAnoia’s Eatery’s offshoot Pané e Pronto has you covered for the Italian Thanksgiving of your dreams. Choose from a meal for two for $74 or four for $140. Each kits has porchetta with gravy, cacio e pepe, mashed potatoes, sausage, spinach, apple, and pine nut stuffing, cauliflower casserole, cranberry & fennel sauce; and Italian cookies for dessert. Pick up yours on November 27, 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Sprezzatura

Jen Saffron’s Sprezzatura is one of Pittsburgh’s top caterers (you can learn more about her story in our profile of her!) and her Thanksgiving menu never disappoints. This year, celebrate with wild rice, sausage, and mushroom stuffing, stuffed squash, turkey and walnut meatballs, roasted vegetable lasagna and even a vegan lasagna. Of course, she also has a turkey. But elements like Saffron’s Calabrian cauliflower and chocolate espresso tart add her unique culinary style to her menu.

Black Radish Kitchen

Black Radish has a “Thanksgiving sides delivery” that they’re calling it “b-y-o-bird” this year. While there’s no turkey, they’re serving up onion fennel focaccia, chive butter mashed potatoes, and a cranberry orange mess, along with a host of other delicious dishes.

The Fairmont

On November 28th, Fairmont will be serving up a chef-curated buffet with a mixture of holiday classics and unique dishes for Thanksgiving brunch. At $75 per adult, this five-course meal will have options for everyone, whether you want the turkey or the herb prime rib. Seating times are 12:30 PM, 12:45 PM, 1:00 PM, 1:15 PM, and 1:30 PM.

Cooked Goose Catering

This catering company has a huge meal ready for you and your family and friends, as their decadent Thanksgiving package serves ten people. If you’re really looking for a classic, traditional Thanksgiving but without the cooking, the Cooked Goose catering menu is a good option.

Grand Concourse

Maybe instead of cooking, you’d rather go out to dinner. It saves you from having to clean the house! Grand Concourse hosts a Thanksgiving buffet each year. This is a steal, with tickets at $59 ($29 for kids). The whole affair takes some of the hassle out of cooking and could turn Thanksgiving into a fun meal out or even a date.

Third Space Bakery

If you don’t mind cooking but aren’t into baking pies, we get it. Baking is complicated, and cooking and baking are two different skill sets. Luckily, Third Space Bakery offers to-go Thanksgiving pies starting in early November.
